#4DaysTillDeath: Are You Ready For The End?

KLONDIKE, Flen On KingFunks4s’ Desk – Since the creation the Club Penguin Army Community, we have gone through a lot of challenges. Whether it be Bot Raids, Hackers, Defacing, Doxing and so on, we’ve always grown out of the situation and moved on together.

What started as a beautiful idea, a fun game for all, has now turned into a dreadful, upsetting feeling for our entire community. Almost one month ago, Club Penguin announced that they will be closing their doors & shifting to a new mobile app named ‘Club Penguin Island’. This is what Club Penguin said:

Hello penguins,

As you know, over the past few years, we’ve been hard at work developing an entirely new Club Penguin experience for mobile. With this next chapter, we will be launching an amazing new product, Club Penguin Island, that offers a uniquely penguin experience, with new features and gameplay, making it more fun than ever.

As part of the launch of Club Penguin Island in March, we will be transitioning to an entirely new platform, and, we’ve made the decision to discontinue the current Club Penguin game on desktop and mobile devices on March 29, 2017.

We’ll be celebrating the first 11 years with you with a huge party starting February 1, 2017. Here’s a little sneak peek of what you can expect at the party:

Here, Megg, Club Penguin Support Member, says that now Club Penguin Island is coming out in March, and they will be transitioning to an entirely new platform, along with the decision to discontinue the current desktop version of Club Penguin on March 29th, 2017.

Following this, there was another post released on Disney’s official website. This is what they had to say:

Over the past few years, our team has been hard at work on an entirely new Club Penguin experience for mobile. With this next chapter, we will be launching an amazing new product, Club Penguin Island, that offers a uniquely penguin experience, with new features and gameplay, making it more fun than ever. As we get closer to the launch of Club Penguin Island, which will be available in select languages and territories in March, we will be transitioning to an entirely new platform, and, we’ve made the decision to discontinue the current Club Penguin game on desktop and mobile devices on March 29, 2017.

We are deeply grateful for your time and enthusiasm since the beginning, and we’d like to thank each and every one of you in the Club Penguin community.

Following Club Penguin’s Closure announcement, we here at CPA Central have come together, along with the rest of the community, to enjoy these last couple of weeks. We’re now left with only 4 days before it all comes to a close.

What do YOU think? What will YOU do once Club Penguin closes? It this real end of an era or is something big is hidden behind this announcement? We here at CPA Central value YOUR opinion. So, comment down below and let us know what you think, and thanks for reading!

  1. A few of us will be making armies in CP Island. And so the army still grows, although not as big anymore.

    • Its not that simple. A few years back word was going around that club penguin would be removing servers in favor of a shard based connection. This was later moved onto CPI. Because of this, there’s no territory to own, no way for an army to meet, and no way to recruit.
