Elmikey Solidified As RPF Leader || Has the Rebellion Been Quelled?

TUXEDO, RPF Headquarters — After a week of debate inside the Rebel Penguin Federation as to who would take the reigns of the army and of controversy regarding Elmikey, it seems a decision has been made the solidifies Elmikey as the continued leader of the army.

After debate in the army regarding who should steer the ship, and to the alleged “corruption of Elmikey”, the RPF’s leadership elections have come to a close with some not-so-surprising results. However, some changes by RPF Creator Commando717 following the elections also bring a more politicized side to RPF. Let’s review from the start, shall we?

On October the 4th, following aspirations by other leaders of the RPF to change the structure of the army — this discussion mainly centered on Elmikey, and where his purpose in the army should be from here on out — a decision was made to hold leadership elections in the RPF.

ELMIKEY’S REBEL PENGUIN FEDERATION
– GOVERNMENT TYPE: DEMOCRACY –

LEADERSHIP: A PRESIDENT, AND CENTRAL COMMAND REPRESENTATIVES

EXAMPLE: What RPF has had up until tonight, with all leaders having the same control- along with one being chosen as the representative of the people.

LEADERS IN THIS SITUATION: ELMIKEY, RED GUSH24, FLAPPY112, LUCARIO564, SNAILY5, 78562COOL, GAR101, NICK, AND SIR PJ

KEVIN’S REBEL PENGUIN FEDERATION
– GOVERNMENT TYPE: DIRECT DEMOCRACY/OLIGARCHY –

LEADERSHIP: CENTRAL COMMAND REPRESENTATIVES

EXAMPLE: All leaders have the same control, no representative of the people

LEADERS IN THIS SITUATION: KEVIN, RED GUSH24, FLAPPY112, LUCARIO564, SNAILY5, 79562COOL, GAR101, NICK, AND SIR PJ

THE NEW REBEL PENGUIN FEDERATION
– GOVERNMENT TYPE: DIRECT DEMOCRACY –

LEADERSHIP: A PRESIDENT, AND CENTRAL COMMAND REPRESENTATIVES

EXAMPLE: All leaders have the same control, though one is chosen as the representative of RPF through a new election.

LEADERS IN THIS SITUATION: Everybody in the current RPF Central Command, along with a new President’s election.

Above, we see an outline of the three government types — and leadership groups — that the RPF troops would be voting on in the coming elections.

Following this structured form of reformation, arguments began to break out as Djgtjvgyhxgy and Kevin became the center of what would involve into a rebellion and a plan to stage a coup d’etat of Elm. In a comment on CPAC, Dj said the following regarding “the truth about Elmikey”.

Elm is a dictator. Three days ago, I was banned for criticising him, a breach of Article IV, Section III of the USRPF constitution. The next day, I was unbanned by Commando and me, my supporters, and his supporters got in a debate. RPF snitch Brooke tipped off Elm, and Elm quickly banned me. I was unbanned by Kevin, who Elm fired on the spot. He then went on a banning spree of my supporters. Something went ary, the chat reset, and we found no one had control of the chat. Me and Kevin have started a rebellion, named the RFA. This isn’t the first time that Elm has silenced people, but everytime, we give him another chance.

However, using an auto-typer doesn’t make you immune to the USRPF constitution. Elm will be punished for his treason, whether his supporters like it or not.

As the flame war continued, Commando announced the results of the election two days later, on October the 6th. In a crushing margin, Elmikey swept away Kevin and the other leadership candidates, with 25 of the 36 votes casted. The post also outlined a new Senate and Constitution, which would be implemented in the army as a sort of “compromise” and recognition of Dj and Kevin’s thoughts. In the post, Commando said the following:

I would be much more swayed in Kevin’s opinion if he didn’t go out of his way to gain support from non-RPF soldiers. At this point, this situation isn’t exactly a “Civil War”or a “Coup”. It’s more so an act of terrorism towards a government that does work, and does have a likeable leader. Now I would also argue that if Elmikey is using other leaders while he controls everything, Djgtjvgyhxgy is also controlling the same leaders to oust Elmikey because he got banned forever on RPF chat.

Concerning that issue of being able to control other leaders by deciding whether or not that they stay as a leader, I made it clear that the majority group of Rebel Commanders have the ability to demote the lesser group of Rebel Commanders if needed. In past instances, which I have actual been present at, it was always a majority rules situation without just Elmikey deciding somebody was going to be fired. This then brings us to the question, that if multiple Rebel Commanders don’t like Elmikey, why can’t he be demoted instantly?

Elmikey was elected the President of the USRPF, that’s why. In the United States, they call the President the Commander and Chief. This is the same for us. The President in RPF should be the leader who represents the majority.

On the event side of things, the RPF has been doing well, taking first in two of the three most recent Top Tens and dropping to third this week. They also recent won their first battle of the Champions Cup II against the Water Ninjas, and are scheduled to face off against the Light Troops — currently ranked number one in the Top Ten — next weekend. In a post addressing RPF following his re-election to leader, Elmikey had this to say:

If I’m not around to guide the Rebel Commander’s then very little/nothing would ever get done. I send texts out to leaders everyday giving specific orders to each one so at the end of each day we’ll see noticeable results. I edit nearly all the post’s on the site to make them more “RPF” themed/appropriate/visually fun. I lead events when I can and I for sure lead the important battles/tournaments. I am the best when it comes to many things ultimately I just want to make RPF as good as possible, others claim to be RPF but they’re trying to rip us apart. I will not let them.

The unrest in RPF may very well continue, as Kevin and Dj seemed adamant on Elmikey being removed from power in the army. While Elmikey seems to have been solidified as the President of the army — and was elected by the troops — this is RPF, and as usual, unpredictable as over. Due to this, I’m sure this story is only just beginning and we’ll be bringing you all the updates for this as they come. For CPAC, I’m Bluesockwa1.

  8. Nice post. However, Commando is acting President atm. The President is one who regulates USRPF and the RPF web site. Right now we have an equal leadership amongst the Rebel Commanders.
Never a dull moment in the RPF 🙂
