12. Pirates [NEW!]

13. Team Blue [NEW!]

14. Water Ninjas [NEW!]

15. Special Weapons and Tactics [-4]

1. Army of the Republic: The AR make a surprising rise to first this week due to less than adequate performances by some other armies. Their week began as tensions mounted with the Rebel Penguin Federation, and their war with the Army of CP raged on. As the week began. the AR claimed victory during the AUS Invasion of Snow Day. Not too soon after, the war with ACP resulted in a victory for the Army Republic following their smashing victory on Yukon. Following the end of the war with the ACP, the AR held many events including a U-Lead session on the 14th with sizes of 30, and a Recruiting Session on the 16th with sizes of 25-30. The following day, they faced off against the Nachos in a Practice Battle with successful results and sizes of 25-30.

2T. Underground Mafias Army: The Underground Mafias Army have risen an admirable five places this week, snagging a tie for second along with the Nachos. UMA’s week began as the ACP surrendered to the army following their week-long war, and their war with the Doritos continued. The next day, the army claimed victory during the Battle for Mittens, with sizes of 20-25. They also logged on to Tundra that same day, with sizes of around 30. On the 13th, UMA held an Unscheduled Event with sizes of 20-25, and another event the following day with similar sizes. As the week comes to a close, the UMA has taken advantage of the less than average performances of their competitors and risen to 2nd this week. Eyes/Daniel has returned to the army, and tensions with SWAT and the Doritos continue to rise despite recently ending a war with DCP.

2T. Nachos: The Nacho Army takes a fall from first place this week. They held only two events throughout the week despite their successfully hosted FJord Frenzy — which was a multi-army event. The first of which was a Tactics Session on the 15th with an average size of 25-30. As the week came to a close, yesterday the army faced off against the Army Republic in a Practice Battle in which they reached an average size of 30.

4. Doritos: The Doritos rise one rank to fourth this week. Their week began as they welcome the server of Bunny Hill to their empire as their war with the Underground Mafias Army continued. The next day, the war with UMA came to an end following a controversial result during the Battle for Mittens — in which DCP claimed victory. To top of the week, the Doritos smashed the Army of CP in a Practice Battle where they averaged sizes of 30. The army has also been working avidly along with the RPF and ACP in a project to Restore Mammoth.

5. Ice Warriors: Despite being predicted to hit the SMAC Top Ten anytime soon, the IW displayed a decent week by rising up by four positions and hitting sixth. They began their week with a decent session led by their leader, Albert417, where they achieved sizes between 30-35 after a long wait. On the 14th, however, the disappointed IW tied with Dark Warriors in a practice battle and maxed around 20, perhaps the worst in the week. Over the next few days, they would manage to stay above 20 for most of the time and hit bests on alternate days.

6. Rebel Penguin Federation: The RPF takes a major fall to sixth this week. Their week began as the captured the server of Snow Bank, facing no resistance with sizes of 30. As their war came to an end, they continued in their efforts to restore the server of Mammoth, holding daily snowball battles with the help of the ACP and later Doritos. Over the next few days, the army was wrapped up in many Leadership Troubles which can be read up on here, here and here. Soon after, the army held a Training Session on Friday with sizes of 20. As this week comes to an end, the army is scheduled to face off against the Army Republic following a recent declaration of war.

7. Water Vikings: Following the major coup of Aaron, the now-former WV leader, the Water Vikings experience a massive fall and drop from third to seventh this week. They began their week with a training session in which they acquired sizes between 20-25 followed by a first unscheduled Australian/Asian event where they fared equally well. Following a devastating two events, the army rose to 25-30 the next day, but failed to keep the good sizes up and maxed SMAC-standard sizes. On August 17th, Brass Ass Dash announced his retirement stating that school was the prime reason he retired. In turns, Jodie announced her retirement the next day.

8. Dark Warriors: DW takes a fall this week, after a number of events. An early week training saw a max around 28, and 20 at an unscheduled soon after. An event to test out a new leader saw DW max 20, and following this they had a PB with IW, which DW claimed was a tie, while IW called a victory for themselves. DW maxed around 15. DW’s leaders demoted a number of moderator ranks following this, delivering an ultimatum: step it up or get out. DW maxed 22 at a raid of Breeze, and are also holding owner applications to get back on track. DW comes in at eighth this week.

9. Pretzels: The Pretzels enter the Top 10 this week, after a stunning rise. They had an unscheduled to begin the week, maxing 17, and then defeated CPPA in a Practice Battle, maxing 20. They maxed 25 at another training, and 10 at a UK event. Pretzels come in at ninth this week.

10. Army of CP: For the first time in army history, the ACP ranks 10th. As their week began, they brought an end to their wars with both the Underground Mafias Army and the Army Republic. On the 13th, the army held a Recruiting Session where they averaged 15, and Sercan won the election for 3ic in the army by a landslide vote. On the 17th, the army faced off against the Ice Warriors in a Practice Battle with sizes of 10. Also that day, the Black Alliance reformed and raided the ACP Capital of Breeze, the army defending their server with sizes of 15. As the week came to a close, the ACP held an Ausia event with sizes of 18.

weekly poll

This week, we asked how probable you thought UMA’s strategy to rise was. As described in an interview with CPAC by Mr. Machado, the strategy was said to be to basically rise up by taking down all those above them in wars and other conflicts. The votes were very close on this one, but the results are in and the winner is…

However, despite the results that voted “Not Probable” most commonly, the UMA seems to be on a steady rise into the Top Five. We’ll just have to see if they can maintain it. Make sure to check the sidebar, this week’s poll with be up very soon!

  8. Why would this be the Top Ten of the Summer? It seems like most armies had smaller sizes than usual.

    • AR hits first for the first time this summer, UMA hits Top Three for the first time, ACP takes a fall to 10th, etcetera.

I’m saying this is a very important Top Ten in terms of rises and falls, not necessarily sizes.

  12. meh, I have confidence that DW will rise again, they’ve did it without me for 5 months, they’ll do it again. I think the school year has already played a massive factor on armies.

Good job Dan and UMA though.

  13. Based on the pictures provided, it seems DCP and IW did better than the Nachos. Noting that both armies had more events than the Nachos with average sizes of 25-30, shouldn’t they be higher? I might also be wrong and missed something.

  28. The fact that you let Nachos get away with their bad event and not counting it is complete BS. They maxed 15 vs WV when WV only got “SMAC sizes” (5) 15 is considered top 5 SMAC sizes. Yet it is not mentioned ONCE in the description of the nachos that they had 1 bad event. It even came to after that battle several nachos leaders came to the chat threatening that if we post the results they would make sure we got downgraded on CPAC top 10. Fix your shit.

    Like

    • Do you think that perhaps the Nachos did not post the results, thus we did not see them? Oh excuse me, I don’t fuck around on the chats of all major armies 24/7. Not sure what you want me to fix, see this is the first time I’ve heard about this event all week.

      Like

      • Yeah, Nachos then tried to cover it up saying it never happened telling me not to post it and shit. I understand that since Nachos were dishonest about it, that you couldn’t see it, but I find it dishonest on Nachos’ part.

        Like

        • Jed, that happened before. Nachos (or should I say the leaders) decide to delete their worst pics, just to not be ranked lower. Imagine what would happen if any other army (ACP or RPF is what I had in mind) decided to delete all of their pics to be saved from a bad placement.

          Like

    • Considering it was less than 24 hour notice, I think Nachos did good.

      Like

    • Nobody threatened WV..

      Like

    • That’s an exaggeration tbh. Several Nachos came on yelling at me to not post it, but they never threatened us.

      Like

      • You’re a little bitch. Why don’t you just accept the fact that Nachos did better than your shitty army.

        Like

        • Way to insult me for saying EXACTLY what happened. If your going to whine and insult me for correcting someone on what happened, then you seriously need to reevaluate how seriously you take this you cum chugging dipshit.
