Top Ten Armies: 05/12/13

1. Hot Sauce Army: The HSA hold out at first this week, with a very nice showing. HSA’s week began with a US-based training session, where they maxed 35. Three days after, HSA faced off against the Ice Warriors in a Practice Battle, which they won with sizes of 20. On Friday night, the HSA held an extremely successful unscheduled, with sizes of 20-25. That same day, an Australian/Asian event reached sizes of 15. Another unscheduled came soon after, with sizes of 25 once again. The HSA held had a week all of their leaders should be proud of, and now all that is left to be seen is whether or not HSA can hold onto the number one spot for a fourth week.

2. Army of CP: The Army of CP is beginning to rise back to power following the ascension of Mchappy. They started off this week with a U-Lead bringing sizes of 17-23. Next, ACP flaunted their new Aus-Asian division with an event with 12-15 troops. Later, a training event had 20-25 troops in attendance. Finally, ACP wrapped up their week with a UK event maxing 30 troops.

3. Dark Warriors: The Dark Warriors take third this week. The week began for DW with an unscheduled Australian event, where they maxed 14. That same day, a full-army unscheduled took place, with around the same sizes. Elite910 told DW to step it up that same day, and soon enough, the army did. On May 10th, DW average around 20. A few more Australian events came with sizes of 10-15, and then the DW gave a spectacular showing during a Practice Battle with the Ice Warriors, with sizes of 25-30.

4T. Army Republic: The Army of the Republic has been tied up with a war with the SWAT. A tie on Toboggan with the SWAT netted 20 troops. Later, they attained 13-15 troops at an invasion of Cream Soda from SWAT, who were a no-show. A defense of Berg was another event of around 20 troops for the AR. Next, the AR faced SWAT on Ice Berg with sizes of 20-25. Lastly, an event on Glacial was a success, bringing   in 25 troops.

4T. Special Weapons & Tactics: This week, SWAT’s ban from CPAC’s Top 10 Armies is over. In other news, they are currently at war with AR. They started off the week with a successful invasion of Rocky Road from AR, amassing 20-25 troops. Later, the SWAT maxed around 23 on Toboggan, tying with AR for their capital. Lastly, SWAT faced AR on the server of Ice Berg, maxing around 18-20 troops.

6. Ice Warriors: The Ice Warriors have had a decent week, starting out with a Aus-Asian recruiting event where they got sizes of 7-10. They had an American recruiting session a few hours later with sizes of 18-22. Two days later a European recruiting session brought sizes of 10-15. Later on that day again, the Ice Warriors US division had a maximum of 21 troops in a loss to the Hot Sauce Army in a practice battle. Yesterday, they amassed sizes of 20-25 in a tie against the Dark Warriors. To finish the week, the Ice Warriors have revealed their target for war; the Light Troops.

7. Chaos: The Chaos take a huge leap this week to 7th. During the week, they saw many leadership changes, as one leader, Owlcity, stepped down to LIT, while another leader, Dom, was overthrown. Following this, they had an amazing event where they successfully hit 18+ with good tactics. Afterwards, they hired a new leader, Huskers.

8. Water Vikings: The Water Vikings jump up to their familiar position of 8th. They kicked it off with an unscheduled event on Wednesday with sizes of around 15. Following this, they had an invasion on Saturday with around 15-20, and a training session with 10+. After these events, they promoted their 2ic, Change, to leader.

9. Shadow Troops: ST drops a spot this week. They had a late start to their week, and didn’t have an event until Friday night, where they got around 15. The next day, they had a practice battle with the Light Troops who neglected to show. They got about 10-15. Hours later, their leader, S Cargo, retired from his position.

10. Fire Warriors: The Fire Warriors return to the Top Ten for the first time since Pringle and Pochoma led them. After the defacing, they restructured their site and had an active count. Following this, they had an event with about 15. They also hired Hurricanex1 as a leader.

    • SMAC’s Top Tens are on a different timetable then ours; if you didn’t notice that was made this past Tuesday, meaning the event is still fair game for the CPAC Top Ten this Sunday.

      • The top ten was 2 weeks ago. Or it could be the small chance they did the same tactic, same room, same formation, and similar placing of 15+ people.

  11. Ever since HSA became 1st in the top 10, armies have fallen. No coincidence really, HSA have 25 owners and around 60 mods. They aren’t first because Dx is a good leader

  13. XD Nachos fell out.

The fall was completely the leaders fault. I mean no one posted the results, a UK leader made the American events, the site lost its CSS, and not a single leader but Puckley had actually made a post on the site. Not surprising that they fell out 😛

    Like

    • I posted, but someone in the leadership made my post a draft. I think it’s because Puckley didn’t want us in the top ten this week since we didn’t really have any good, valid events.

      • Exactly. You know, if people actually bothered to READ and not make false assumptions, life would be better off.

        • I wrote the comment before anyone explained it. It is obvious that I thought this way. Next time use your arrogant mind to read the time that I posted the comment, which is clearly seen above. Also, it’s funny how Nachos have such huge generosity to be excluded of the top ten due to bad events. And don’t go bullshitting how Nachos had ok events. They got 16 on a Saturday. If this were ACP they still would be included in the top ten with no excuses.

    • Nachos were excluded due to a lack of events, not due to his asking.

  32. I have created multiple armies before, some that actually extend to multiple servers! I remember my most sustaining army was the Aqua Warriors, and we had a great battle between the fire ninjas and i remember how one of my warriors became a traitor and started a new army called the Shadow Of DOOM and it was awesome. But I need help. How do I post an army on here so that it would be known?

  34. This is off-topic, but I think CPA Central and SMAC should pass a law saying armies can only claim 8 servers at a time. I’m getting fed-up with all the small and large armies hogging all the servers. The only way they can get over 8 servers is if they invade another army and get the servers from them.

    Like

    • If you invaded a server from another army, you’d have to “claim” it to own it.

      Like

    • Would armies like it if CPAC had the power to do make those rulings though? If the majority wants it that way then that’s one thing, but I bet most people’d prefer an army committee do that.

But yeah, they shouldn’t be able to just claim any open server as there’s, even if they go on and sweep through, if they have more than a certain point (8-10). After that they should invade them, then server count can be seen as another sort of high score along with T10.

Question is, would that make armies become just a big server grab-fest? And if it did, is that a bad thing?

      Lots to consider.
