The Retirement Of Roberto From Armies

Roberto, the now former leader of Light Troops announced his retirement yesterday (March 14th) on what seemed to be a likely basis.

After the retirement of Ioioluk from armies it soon came to be that Roberto was to retire too. Here is an excerpt:

Hello Light Troops,

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted on this site,

As some of you know, I’ve been out of armies for months now. I’ve never actually made an actual retirement post so I thought it’d be a good time to start now that ioio is retired.

Light Troops has obviously been the most successful army I’ve ever led, ioio did recruit me to LT and it’s true that he did help shape my recruiting skills to what it is today and I thank him for that.

I don’t plan on doing 10 paragraphs on my army history but I will give a brief autobiography 🙂

I joined armies in late 2009. RPF was my first army and at the time Commando was leading, I found them on the server tuxedo. I found their chat and worked my way up to the moderator rank, I was then found by Kotsad, a good friend of mine and he recruited me to Sky Mafias. Kotsad taught me how to recruit and lead an army, Sky Mafias was the first army I had ever recruited for and I ended up leading them to a +20 victory against Ice Vikings and at this time Ice Vikings were in their prime.

(…)

I was in Sky Mafias for a while but our site was destroyed and we just broke up, a lot of my friends from Sky Mafias have disappeared and I haven’t seen them since.

After my affair with Sky Mafias I would always go on ioios Blue Miners army chat and just mess around with him and just one day he offered me to join his new army called the Light Troops, I joined and then showed him my recruiting skills. I was promoted to mod in less than a few days and not long after I was voted for leader.

And that’s where my legacy starts with the Light Troops.

Now with that in the history of LT, could this be something very shaking? First, it was Ioioluk, and whenever he seems to retire, LT falls apart. This has happened multiple times and this theory can be explained by my post about the retirement of legends. Either, LT seems likely to die or shut down and then Ioio comes back. But, now it seems less likely that he will. He has found a life. He has found friends and maybe……. A girlfriend (*ahem, ahem*).  Coming back to the plot, Roberto has now left armies for good as he has stated that he has not been around in armies for months now, which reminds me of myself. I, too am not one of those hardcore army fans so I basically keep myself to myself. Though Roberto may not have been leading, this surely is to have some kind of effect on LT one way or the other. The future of LT lies in the hands of Mr.Cool. and José. What do you think? Will this retirement have an affect one way or the other? Have any opinion or ways to improve this post? Comment with your opinion.
