DW vs IW: The Recruiting Battle

Recruiting. Recruiting is important to all armies, if you don’t recruit, then you don’t get new troops, and if you don’t get new troops, you don’t get a strong army. Currently, there is two big recruiting armies, and of course we all know who they are, and there would be a massive recruiting battle between them.

The Black Alliance Declares War On IW

Edit: Boomer gave me some useful information, I guess the BA never declared war on IW. It was just Waterkid100 claiming they did. I am going to be making more posts on the battles in the future what should give more information on what exactly is going on with this war.

Hello CPAC Viewers! It’s Buritodaily again, back and ready to report on some of the prime issues and news that is reaching our world of armies. I am sorry I haven’t posted in quite a while, but as some of you may remember, I am only a semi-reporter so I post when I have the time. Last time I reported, it was on the Nachos declaring war on ACP. I am back with another war post, but this time, on two completely different armies. On December 16th, The Black Alliance was reformed yet again, but instead of focusing their power on ACP this time, attacked one of their closest allies, The Ice Warriors.

Riot Journals [Week Six]

A word used so much these days in the CP Army Community. Loyalty has since shrunk it’s meaning down to “Don’t Quit for some BS Reason”, since multiple people are in multiple armies at the same time. Being in several armies can affect one’s loyalty status, having to miss the Woton Warrior’s War with the Derp Dynasty to go to the Bluesockwa Hater’s Association’s Training event instead.

Now, in real armies, wouldn’t that be called Betrayal?

Well, certain armies really don’t care. But they will when the dreaded time comes when 20% of their army is fighting for the other side. Loyalty is asked on every “Join” page their is, mostly being the 5th or 6th question.

“Will You Remain Loyal to the Bluesockwa Hater’s Association?”

Odds are, most people say “Yes” to join, then state “Yes” on the next site they go to.

That’s almost Stage One of Army Hopping.

However, the meaning of loyalty matters on what army you want to join. Some armies will say that means you come on chat almost every day (at least) and not to join any other armies (not really enforced), while others say it means you’re free to join other armies until it becomes to a fact that you’re actually missing their events not to real life, but to the other army. Basically, be at the right chat at the right time.

However, loyalty can lead to betrayal in a matter of minutes, with you deciding to ditch the Derp Dynasty to get a higher job at the Woton Warriors.

Oh my god, Becky, look at her —

Moving along. The point of loyalty is to make sure rival armies don’t get, well, their troops.

Confusing? Not really. Being unloyal brings chaos among all of us. It eventually leads to army hopping, the unloyal troops repeatedly going to different armies for higher stats and authority.

So, if you gave a brand new recruit, say 7 or 8 years old (forget the commercials when the baby doesn’t want the more money for a second), and gave them a choice between high member rank and low mod rank, and then from low mod to medium mod. I don’t think kids are that stupid.

Now, multiply this one kid by how many low recruits are here today, not to mention the few owner ranked leaders who float around. We get a whole lower class and a bit of the higher class [insert pun here] randomly floating around the army caste system from one army to the next. If you’ve been in more than nine armies in a week, you’re unloyal, in technical terms.

Most army hoppers either skip around because of ranks (positions), glory, or another total random reason, such as a rivalry within an army.

So, within our glorious army community is the all-respected, or all-well forgotten term of loyalty. How long does loyalty last in this creative virtual world?  If loyalty is ever put to the test, we’d see a rapidly growing amount of Army Hopping.

Now to some interviews.

What are your opinions on army hoppers?

I dont like army hopping, and for some sranfe reason even I’ve been accused for “army hopping”. I dont like or encourage shifting from army to army, I’ve stayed primarily within GT and SWAT most of my career. Army hoppers are not a good influence and have not caused good things in the army world.

Name three reasons why you think people army hop

Reason one: basically to bandwagon to the bigger army, but not neccesarily the better army. Reason two: to be apart of something bigger. Reason 3: to get bigger and better benefits from just being involved in a bigger army, and if they have a good rank they can use it for their resume for experience in other armies

if there was a symbol for the term army hop, what do you think it would be?

Hmm…I’d say the kangaroo (wink)

Thanks for your time

What are your opinions on army hoppers?

I do not support army hopping, As it hurts overall army stability, in my opinions. it should only be done if necessary. Keep in mind I don’t consider army hopping the same as joining multiple armies. I am referring more to leader ranks who seem to army hop.

Name three reasons why you think people army hop.

They do not have true dedication, they are not passionate and lured easily, and that they have too many friends to stay loyal.

if there was a symbol for the term army hop, what do you think it would be?

I would probably think of a circle. A self-deteriorating one, that is.

Thank you for your time.

Thank you.

What are your opinions on army hoppers?

I feel it is one of the most dissapointing things that happens in club penguin armies it is shameful

Name three reasons why you think people army hop.

power, respect, and experience, even thought the amount of armies you’ve been in matters, its the loyalty that really matters. when people army hop, they dont get any of that

If there was a symbol for the term army hop, what do you think it would be?

A hurricane (wink)

Thank you for your time.

Results of Day 2, Round 2

The Purple Republic Raid

The first battle was in all honesty, Hell. We started off with ACP and DW arguing, then PR came in and screwed up stuff attacking everyone, even asking me for an interview. In the end, after an hour and a half of chaos, we figured out who won and It was DW, with 25 troops managing to get on compared to ACP’s 15.

The only Picture I got of the battle, thanks to dealing with UMA/Nachos and lag.

These are the losers themselves, throwing a party in a poor kid’s igloo.

UMA vs Nachos

After the hell of PR, this battle went quite nicely. Not as large, sadly, but still quite impressive. UMA dominated the battle size wise, but faltered in tactics at first. Nachos did many tactics but looked unorganized throughout the battle with them. In the end, even though we saw much use of multilogin from the Nachos that we didn’t want to deal with, UMA won.

They love me over at UMA

Disorganized from both ends, it is hard to see who is who.

A bomb from the Mafia, though they did forget to pay the rent to us.

The Nachos try some PR techniques while UMA uses the ACP technique used every time. Clovers.

Most organized the battle was with Nachos and UMA being on different sides of the room making a nice oval.

Expanding our Community! Big Recruitment Plan! (army leaders should read)

Blue1: Purple Republic has been removed from the list of participating armies. To see the reasons behind this and CPAC’s stance on the Purple Republic, see the Live Blog Feed on the home page.

Hi there!

I’m Lenco, you may know me as the Metal Warriors leader, but never mind that. This is my first time ever to be writing on CPAC! I am just here to share my plan with you guys about expanding our Club Penguin Warfare Community.

As you all already know, armies are on a dramatic fall this year, but I think they started to rise once again. The big problem in our community is that the players aren’t interested in the warfare anymore. The second problem is that we don’t do recruiting as much as we did last years. Army leaders use chat recruiting, but chat recruiting isn’t very helpful. It is fast and you can get people to your army website fast, but almost all chat recruiters don’t stay in the army they joined more then a week.

So here is my idea, how we can get more people to join armies. We will need lots of armies to join this event! Here is an example how the big recruitment will work:

1. We need at least 10 armies to sign up for this event.

2. Armies will log on to 3 bar and 4 bar servers.

3. Army1 will be in Town, Army2 in Snow Forts, Army3 in Plaza and so on. Let’s say 5 armies will be on one server and 5 on another server. After about 20 minutes, armies will change servers.

4. Regular players will waddle from room to room and they will get interested because they will see armies in every room.

5. All armies will have to do their best recruiting so players would join their army. But remember that it doesn’t matter what army people join, we just have to expand our army community.

6. We can do this once in a week or two weeks.

So if you are an army leader and you want your army to participate in this event, sign up in the comments with the following information:

1. Army name:

2. Army website link:

3. Army chat link:

I hope this works guys!

SWAT – Facing death?

As Del reported around four days ago, the Special Weapons and Tactics army had declared war on the rising Dark Warriors. With DW  receiving first in the 12/9/12 edition of the top 10, many presumed that SWAT were almost committing suicide by this act, and of course there was the odd opinion that this war would be a tight one. But what really happened?

The war itself turned out to be one of the shortest wars ever between two top five armies, as Ganger90, SWAT leader at the time surrendered the war to the Dark Warriors shortly before the first scheduled battle. This was then followed by a Ganger90 retirement, and most of the army jumped to the conclusion that the end was nigh, and boy, were they right.

With Ganger’s departure, an immediate power struggle had taken place, with Crazy being the only recognized US leader, as Reece is in the GMT time zone. This led to many owner ranks following Ganger out of SWAT, including Reece himself, due to SWAT losing their main figurehead.

Shortly after Ganger had announced the end of the war, and his retirement, Firestar, a SWAT LiT at the time had made a post titled “What have we become?” It had included a poem, seemingly describing the recent events of SWAT, such as the army being defaced and betrayed.

Prior to the war with the Dark Warriors, the SWAT had already been defaced around 4 times in one week, and this raised concerns about SWAT’s security, and fingers were being pointed at Ganger90 for his method of keeping “legends” editor on the website. This has caused SWAT to lose all posts up until August 2012, including the month of November, where SWAT had supposedly hit their second golden age, lead by xiunknown, Spiderguy, Ganger90, Reece, and Cul.

Only today, was it announced, that Waterkid100, longtime Pirates leader would be returning to SWAT as leader, attempting to save SWAT from this deep depression. Waterkid was quoted with the following:

Greetings SWAT,

I know you guys are in great depression. Reece and Ganger has left, spi has defaced the site, and you got new leaders. However, Ziro has been couped, and I shall be replacing him. I will be leading SWAT to victory, I will make sure SWAT get’s 20+ once again. I remember the golden age when Spi, Unk, Reece and Ganger was leading, good times. However that time has gone now, as we’re in SWAT’s greatest depression. I will be building the UK division, and Crazy and Kludd will handle the US division.

I promise you guys this,

Waterkid seems to be confident that SWAT will pull themselves out of this rut, trusting in his fellow leaders Crazy and Kludd to rebuild the US division, whilst he works on the UK division. There is also the possibility that there will be more names added to the helm of SWAT, due to there being a “Massive Leader Election” stickied on SWAT’s site, which can be found HERE

My P.O.V

I believe SWAT will pull them selves out of this, with the expense of Waterkid’s experience, but they will suffer a similar fate as they did here, when Waterkid decides to leave SWAT aswell. However, only time will tell if I am right or not.

What do you think? Was Ganger right in leaving SWAT? Will they get back up from this?

Rogues: Are They Helpful to an Army?

Hey guys, 78562cool here.  Today I will be discussing the controversial topic of, the affects rogues have on armies.  Just for clarity, rogues are average CP users that partake in army’s events even though they aren’t in that army. Some people believe that rogues help their army and their events, but others think that rogues can destroy their events.  Click Read More Continue reading
