Top Ten Armies: 11/04/12

Zak: Just a reminder to all armies: If you do not post pictures, you will not be included in the top ten. Today’s events count for next week’s top ten, not today’s. And PLEASE, before you give me so much rage about a certain army not being included, read the note at the bottom of the Top Ten.

After Hurricane Sandy leaving the East Coast in its wake, the army community as a whole was affected. But nonetheless, I bring you another edition of the CPAC Top Ten. With the Top 5 becoming extremely close and the Top 3 nearly too close to even call, this one’s a doozy.

Top Ten Armies

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Ice Warriors [+1] (84.88)
2. Light Troops [+2] (83.53)
3. Special Weapons and Tactics [+5] (81.94)
4. Pirates [+3] (77.56)
5T. Army Republic [-3] (75.81)
5T. Army of Club Penguin [-1] (75.81)
7. Underground Mafias Army [+2] (72.25)
8. United Countries of CP [+3] (60.27)
9. Night Divers [+4] (57.94)
10. Air Force [+4] (55.06)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Close to the Top Ten:

11. Cabin Defenders [NEW!]

12. Global Defenders [-2]

13. Doritos of Club Penguin [-7]

14. Rare Penguins [+1]

15. Sky Troops [NEW!]

 1. Ice Warriors: The Ice Warriors had a spectacular week this week, rising up to the Number 1 position. They began with a practice battle with the Nachos, in which they emerged triumphant in. They followed this with several training sessions. In all events, they were able to pull off 30+, sometimes even reaching numbers of 40. They had a tourney battle with the Nachos today, in which they won.

2. Light Troops: The Light Troops have risen once again, reclaiming their once precious Top 3 position. At the beginning of the week, they hired Lord Pain as an LT Leader, and 2 days later, declared war on the Army of Club Penguin. They have had multiple battles with ACP throughout the week, along with unscheduled events and training sessions, averaging 30+ throughout the week. They have several more invasions on ACP planned.

3. Special Weapons and Tactics: The SWAT have risen a staggering 5 positions, making their presence known in the Top 3. After a site hack at the beginning of the week, they declared war on ACP for fun, and were soon followed by the Pirates and Light Troops. After some average events of 20+, SWAT got an amazing 30+ at an invasion of ACP, soon followed by a 35+ at their Invasion of Breeze. SWAT is invading Mittens from ACP tomorrow.

4. Pirates: The Pirates have finally reclaimed their Top 5 position. After ending their Order 67 on small armies at the start of the week, they went on to declare war on the ACP. They had several invasions of the ACP throughout the week, and are apparently in a conflict with the Army Republic. They have been reaching astounding numbers of 30+ lately, giving them their Number 4 position. They have invasions and defenses of ACP planned throughout the week.

5T. Army Republic: The Army Republic drop to fifth this week, being one of the only 4 top 15 armies to drop in position. They began with a RTU event, getting about 20+. Following this, however, they had a training session with around 25+ and great tactics. They also had a practice battle with the Nachos, getting about 20+. They have both a training and recruiting session scheduled for next week.

5T. Army of CP: The ACP barely hang onto their Top 5 position this week, dropping a spot. They have been dealing with wars with 3 different armies this week, and now, a fourth. They began by having a Halloween party, followed by several defenses and invasions in which the ACP got around 20+. They are at war with the Light Troops, Pirates, SWAT, and just recently, the UMA. They have several defenses scheduled.

7. Underground Mafias Army: Rising two spots, they had quite a confusing week this week. With several leader changes, UMA adjusted to a new leadership of Coolster114, Derek, Benjarkin, and Cul8rsl. This week UMA had only one event, and that was a tourney battle against the Light Troops and Pirates. They lost, but with sizes of 20+. They have also just declared war on the ACP, and have several invasions scheduled.

8. United Countries of CP: The UCCP are back in the Top Ten, having good enough sizes this week to earn back their Number 8 spot. They started off with some UK events to improve their UK division, and had some unscheduled events, one of which saw sizes of 16+. They also won at an Invasion of the Global Defenders, but tied at a defense. They ended the war, and their only event planned is a training session for today.

9. Night Divers: After a long while at work, the Night Divers have found their way into the Top Ten for the first time. They began by fighting against the Pirates with many other small armies. Following the end of this war, they fought the CP Troops in an unscheduled practice battle with small sizes. They then came back with an unscheduled training session, and got sizes of up to 15+ at it. They have yet to schedule any events this week.

10. Air Force: Another medium army has finally found its first time into the Top Ten, the Air Force of CP. They started the same way as the Night Divers, by fighting off the Pirates with many allied small armies. Four days later, they had a spectacular recruiting session, in which they got sizes of up to 15. They have tactic sessions scheduled every day this week, and are determined to keep on growing.

If you are going to wonder, the Nachos were excluded from this top ten due to a lack of pictures on the site. We are not excluding them in any shape or form, but since they had no pictures, there was no verification of their performance this week.

And so ends yet another CPAC Top Ten. Comments? Complaints? Generic opinions of bias that probably don’t exist? Feel free to comment below with what YOU have to say. Until next time,

We are not excluding them in any shape or form, but since they had no pictures, there was no verification of their performance this week.” -Exact quote from the Top Ten. Read something other than the damn order.

  7. Actually the top ten has been done multiple times without certain armies not having any pictures from the week. It was previously done with a ranking and “no picture available.” Whatever, not like we care anyway.

  8. This is ridiculous. Obviously the hurricane prevented events this week. Nachos obviously should be up there and you know it.
    This is just ridiculous.

    • As was clearly explained, Nachos refused to provide us with pictures. In the case Puck is speaking about, that’s regarding UMA. In the case of UMA, their site was down at the time, and pictures had already been seen earlier in the week, and we simply could not get onto the site to get the pictures, and I met with their leaders to deal with it as soon as I could.

      Besides, as Puck said, you guys don’t care. But in case there’s any need to clarify, CPAC’s policies have always remained the same. We don’t cater to anyone. I believe Zak made that very clear.

      • We never “refused” to give you pictures. We simply had one event this week, one of which we happened to not get pictures of.

      • First, I’m retired I’m not in any armies. I just think it’s ridiculous that you are doing this new “rule” considering there was just a big hurricane. From what I see the nachos didn’t schedule many events due to the hurricane. I don’t go on xat or anything I just check the sites from time to time, and in your comments towards the Nachos it seems like you have a grudge toward them or something?

        Like

        • Actually, we have no grudge towards you, I have actually worked closely with many people in Nachos, and I have the utmost respect for you, Tan. The Nachos did, as Chrisi said, have events, all of which they refused to provide CPAC with pictures for. While I respect you very much, I feel that you are simply standing up for your army- which I admire, but I’m not sure you’re completely well-informed of the situation.

    • I believe you had several events, one of which (the tournament) I attended. But since your leaders were more inclined to rage at my incredible ‘bias’ instead of posting any pictures or providing uswith them when asked there is simply no way to accurately rank them.

      • we had two, one of which we beat ar, in a pb, so we obviously got at least a decent size there, and then the CPAC event which YOU were at -.-

        • It’s not a question of whether or not you had events, but seeing as due to the pointless raging of your cohorts, from what I have heard, it was rather difficult to take pics while Shiver and Puck are *****ing their heads of and trying to get their troops rallied into all-out anarchy. When asked to provide us with pics for the Top Ten multiple times, Puckley and others refused because “Nachos didn’t care.” And if the Nachos don’t care, they wouldn’t be making rage comments. I’m curious how that can be explained.

          • They only question the situation because it’s quite laughable. I’d elaborate, but I could care less.

            Like

          • Because I’m not retired and therefore I’m not in the Nachos, and I’m sorry to pile more sh** on you because I know how much you get from running this place, but I find it hilarious that you deleted my “*cough* ACP *cough” reply to Puck’s first comment (That was not a reply).

  26. Nachos should obviously be in the top ten. They are not there due to a technicality. And it is not a big issue. I think the Top Ten is idolizied to much and this proves it. Nachos does not get feed less if they are not there.

    • Have you ever tried writing a top ten, just to find that a few armies aren’t posting pictures? It makes the whole thing a lot harder.
